The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Dr. Faustus continues the Hunger Artists tradition of presenting classical plays in unexpected, updated ways. This production imagines Dr. Faustus as an inmate of an asylum rather than a respected professor of a German university.  Does he truly conjure the devil or is it all part of his delusions?  The inmates and doctors form the players in his adventures after he sells his soul to Mephistopheles and travels the world in pursuit of knowledge and wrestles with his conscious over the decision he has made.
