So You Think You Can Act Produced by Emily Brauer-Rogers
So You Think You Can
Act is in search of actors. Want to prove your acting chops? Show
everyone what your made of? Or just have some plain fun? Emily Brauer
Rogers (a wannabe Simon Cowell) is looking for actors for Hunger
Artists late night show of So You Think You Can
Act. The performances will be July 24, 25, 30, August 1, 7 & 8 at
11:00 PM. There will be minimal rehearsals before each performance.
How will the show work? The first
night will be audition night with the actors bringing their best
monologues and then the audience will whittle the cast down to 10 people
(five men and five women). At this point on, they'll be given scenes to
prove their acting skills. Those that the audience votes in the bottom
will then have to monologue for their life and the judges will then
decide which 2 actors to send home. If you're interested and want to
prove that you're an acting superstar, contact Emily Brauer Rogers at

Frankenstein in Love, or The Life of Death,
is a wild mix of political allegory and weird romance set in a fictional
Latin American country. Dr. Frankenstein is a state-supported torturer
experimenting on the downtrodden citizens, and his Monster, El Coco (The
Bogeyman), is the rebel leader staging a coup. A doomed love triangle is
established when both men fall in love with the ever-morphing Veronique,
Frankenstein’s ultimate creation. Rounded out by an ensemble of strange
and grotesque supporting characters,
Frankenstein in Love
is a macabre and graphic horror-romance done in the Grand Guignol style:
intense depictions of violence drench the surreal, bleak tone of the
story.
