(10/23/10) CURRENT BID: $250.00

The Hunger Artists Theatre Company is hosting a silent auction for an original painting, made exclusively for our production of "A Midsummer Night's Scream." During the run of show, patrons are able to place their bids for a chance to own this one-of-a-kind piece of art. Up-to-date reports on the status of the auction will be posted on this website regularly until the closing night of "A Midsummer Night's Scream," after which the highest bidder will be awarded the painting. Inspired by the ingenuity of the Hunger Artists Theatre Company, Michael
Leighton Coffey created A Midsummer Night Scream as a dedication to the
aforementioned play. A Native of Southern California, Michael is devoted to the
promotion and the advancement of the visual arts as well as the performing arts
within the community. His influences include Robert Williams, M.C. Escher, Eric
White, and Norman Rockwell. For the past two decades Michael has been painting
commissions for pro athletes, musicians, and public figures.
The painting is currently hanging in the Hunger Artists Theatre lobby. Patrons may place their initial bids in person at the Theatre during productions of "A Midsummer Night's Scream" and "The Orange County Underground Burlesque Society presents Ghouly Gals" until October 31st, 2010. After an initial bid, patrons may bid again by emailing the bid to hungerartists@yahoo.com. |
