SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS

The Hunger Artists Theatre Company is always interested in producing new works. For over a decade, the Hunger Artists have been known for staging the world premieres of such acclaimed and award-winning plays as Johnna Adams' "Cockfighters", Darcy Hogan's "The Land Southward", Jeremy Gable's "The Flying Spaghetti Monster Holiday Pagaent" and "re:Woyzeck", Emily Brauer's "Searching For Americana", Jason Lindner's "The Pledge Drive: Ruminations on the Hunger Artist" and "The Ballad of Don Q", Fengar Gael's "The Cantor's Tale" and over fifty "Madame Guignol" pieces, as well as world premiere adaptations of "Medea", "Marat/Sade", "The Metamorphosis" and "The Jungle Book." As a three-time winner of the O.C. Weekly Theater Award for Best New Play, the Hunger Artists Theatre Company has built a strong reputation for producing daring and powerful new works.

Please submit the entire script with a cover letter, author's bio, character breakdown, contact information and an SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) if you wish the materials to be returned. If you are submitting a musical, please include sheet music and/or a CD/tape of the songs. Synopses are discouraged, but we will consider them if submitted.
