The Hunger Artists
Theatre Company is always interested in producing new works. For over a decade, the Hunger
Artists have been known for staging the world premieres of such acclaimed and
award-winning plays as Johnna Adams' "Cockfighters", Darcy Hogan's "The
Land Southward", Jeremy Gable's "The Flying Spaghetti Monster Holiday
Pagaent" and "re:Woyzeck", Emily Brauer's "Searching For Americana", Jason Lindner's
"The Pledge Drive: Ruminations on the Hunger Artist" and "The Ballad of Don Q", Fengar Gael's "The Cantor's Tale" and over fifty "Madame
Guignol" pieces, as well as world premiere adaptations of "Medea",
"Marat/Sade", "The Metamorphosis" and "The Jungle Book." As a three-time winner of the
O.C. Weekly Theater Award for Best New Play, the Hunger Artists Theatre Company has built
a strong reputation for producing daring and powerful new works.
